This year we have a one day event on Sunday 24 March. The walk will start at the Coulson Gardens Maribyrnong and travel through to Brighton via Port Melbourne and return.

Where does the fundraising money go?

All money raised goes into Love Me Love You foundation’s ability to facilitate our mental health Awareness Education Presentations, Wellbeing workshops & Change Behaviour Programs at a subsidised rate for schools and sporting clubs meaning that we can reach more young adults with these programs. Prevention is the name of our game and our mission is to foster a positive change in the mental health outcomes of young Australians.

All apparel will be posted to you prior to the event.

Additionally, a walk/run guide will be provided to you with details of the track, marshal points, toilets and refreshment stops all outlined.

Is there training available?

Training is crucial for this event, you will be sent a guideline of what you should be doing to gain an appropriate level of fitness to smash through this event.

Additionally, with help from some supporting partners training programs, nutrition and advice will be delivered in the lead up to the event.

This year Empower Club are kindly supporting all walkers by providing a customised training program for those walking the 15, 30 or 60km events. The training plan includes access to the Empower Club team for advice and support. You can download the program here>>

What support is available?

Support is the key to the success in many things and that is particularly true of Love Me Love You’s March with Me. Love Me Love You will be fully supported by a crew of volunteers at check points along the way. They will be able to attend to your needs. Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Masseurs and First Aid qualified staff will be in attendance to help make sure that you cover the distance.

What if I can’t walk the distance?

If you for any reason you’re unable to keep walking, you’ll be able to take a ride in one of our support vehicles. Maybe you just need a little rest or your blisters are needing some attention – it’s ok to put your hand up & say that you are in need of some help, that’s why our support team travel with us! There is a section of the route where our vehicles can’t access, but we will make this clear on the day. Our volunteer staff will be travelling the journey with you so you can talk to one of the team if you’re needing a hand and they will get help for you.

How long does the walk/run take?

While this is dependent on how fast you walk/run we estimate the following;

60km walkers: 8.5-12 hrs with stops
30km walkers: 6-8 hrs with stops
15km walkers: 3-5 hrs with stops
5km family event: 1 hrs

How do I get involved without doing the walk?

We love people getting involved in whatever way they can! If you can’t get involved by attending the walk, you’re able to help out by getting involved in the support crew, helping at the designated rest stops, cheering the participants along the way or simply showing their support through donations.

To register your interest to volunteer on the day please contact Nicole McMahon by email at

I signed up but I can no longer attend the event. What should I do?

If you’ve signed up to participate and for any reason you can’t attend, please get in touch with the team by email at
